Course Description: When performing a power wheelchair evaluation, the input device is extremely important to the process. People who drive power wheelchairs with a proportional device have the greatest control over the speed and direction of the power wheelchair. This course will provide an overview of the things to consider before eliminating proportional controls from drive control consideration and discuss equipment options that are available on the market when the goal is to keep the individual driving proportionally for as long as possible.
