Target Audience:  Licensed/Certified Medical Professional (i.e. PT, OT), Rehab Professional (ATP, SMS, CRTS)

Course Description:   Power Seat Elevation is COVERED for beneficiaries enrolled in traditional Medicare (Part B) and ALL Medicare Advantage Plans (Part C) regardless of their diagnosis, as long as they meet the coverage criteria for a PWC. How do you know your client will qualify for this new benefit, and what can you do if they don't? This course will provide clinicians with practical tools to evaluate and document the need for this power seat option; and assist suppliers in interpreting the information in the medical record to determine when and how to provide this enabling technology across all PWC groups. Hear an update from industry experts about the changes taking place in providing power seat elevation effective April 1, 2024 and get your questions answered.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of the course the participant will be able to:

  1. List the coverage criteria for the PWC base to determine the best client-equipment match when recommending a power seat elevation system.
